Our History
It all started with an idea...
In 2017, Chris Demaillet, founder & managing director of Montclair Chef, identified a market opportunity and created YachtChefWanted.com, an online platform for listing yacht chef jobs, with the aim of providing a digital space for employment opportunities that was free from the overwhelming presence of spam and irrelevant content commonly found on other platforms.
As of today, the platform has surpassed 12,000 chefs who have subscribed to its daily content, and it is set to become the world largest yacht chef job posting board.
In the winter of 2022, YachtChefWanted.com underwent a rebranding and is now operating as MontclairChef.com.
